Malawi 2022 IGF: Digital Inclusion and Trust in Malawi

The Malawi Internet Governance Forum will take place on the 30-31 May 2022 in the capital city of Malawi, Lilongwe.

This will be the fourth meeting since the Malawi chapter was founded in 2014 and will draw together participation from government, private sector, civil society, academia as well as Internet end-users to discuss the issues affecting the growth of the internet penetration, data privacy and protection and cybersecurity among many other topics nested under the main theme of digital inclusion and trust in Malawi. The guest of honour is the secretary for information and digitalization. 

Join us at the Bingu International Convention Center from 08:00-14:00 hrs.

Malawi 2019 IGF: One World. One Net. One Vision.

The Malawi Internet Governance Forum will this year take place on the 16 -  17 December 2019 in the capital city of Malawi, Lilongwe.

This will be the third meeting since the Malawi chapter was founded in 2014 and will draw together participation from government, private sector, civil society, academia as well as Internet end-users to discuss the issues affecting the growth of the internet penetration, data privacy and protection and cybersecurity among many other topics.

This year's event is being coordinated with the secretariat support from our organizing committee member the ICT Association of Malawi who also coordinated the 2017 meeting in liaison with all other multistakeholder members.

The programme agenda development is underway, based on received inputs from the community.
